Crucible Research engineers are routinely engaged with customers who need specialized alloy development to solve a particular need. Our ability to numerically model new material systems before they are manufactured drastically reduces the expensive trial-and-error approach that so many firms use.
Once an alloy is deemed a candidate material, our laboratory-sized atomizers may be used to make small economical batches of material to ensure that customer requirements are met. After the new alloy is proven on the laboratory scale, production is transferred to one of our larger atomizers.
Customers are encouraged to visit while their powders are being made so that they may understand the process and ask any questions that they may have.
